The Parish of St Helier have decided to turn Mulcaster Street into an open-air night club on Saturdays.
“We’re delighted to announce this solution said the Parish. “The drunken behaviour of islanders leaving from bars and clubs in the surrounding areas and is becoming dangerous when mixing with traffic. Therefore, we feel that opening up ‘Al Fresco clubbing’ in the area really is the smartest thing to do.
A D.J booth will be placed between Burger Palace and the Royal yacht, Tanguy’s bar will be open access for drinks as will The Lamplighter and Royal Yacht. We believe this will keep pedestrians safer and traffic can easily be diverted to suit this new adventure, entry will also be free of charge.
The club will be open in January 2019.
