Jersey increases spending on 'whatever it likes'

9 Directors of States Departments have been given an increased amount of money which they can spend on whatever they want.

“It’s a big amount of money to manage but we’re confident we can spend it all without really thinking about what’s actually needed” said one of the directors.

“I look forward to spending this, it’s the best part of the job, maybe a golf trip ?’

It is estimated the vast majority of the budgetswill be wasted on pointless stuff by June 2019.
