Members of the Honorary Police have confirmed that being an honorary police officer isnt really an honour. The officer, who wished to remain anonymous, said
"Well all we really do is pretend to be the States Police, we stand around at Fetes, we can't arrest anyone and no one likes us for catching them speeding, theres not really a lot of point to us to be honest, or at least thats how it feels"
It's really not much of an honour in all fairness.
